Ouster OS1 is a family of lidars offering up to 45º vertical viewing angles with an object detection range of 0.3-200m. Depending on the version, 32 to 128 beams scan the surroundings with a frequency of up to 20 Hz. The built-in IMU allows to easily implement SLAM algorithms. In addition to the point cloud typical of Lidars, this sensor also provides a 2D image of the environment, thus facilitating the creation and verification of algorithms. The highest level of protection against external conditions (IP69K) enables to safely use of the device in field tests.
Lidars with 32 and 64 channels are available in 3 beam configurations:
