Miniature Cartesian Manipulator

This educational workstation featuring a three-axis model demonstrates a pick-and-place application simulating surface processing. The device is suitable for teaching various topics in mechatronics and automation, covering the fundamentals of PLC controller programming, digital technology and sensor integration. The setup comes with pre-designed tasks for students and technical documentation.

Equipped with a control interface featuring switches and a built-in HMI panel, this model allows connectivity to any PLC controller through a dedicated port. All three axes are powered by 24V motors, utilizing high-quality incremental encoders for precise positioning.

Workpieces are moved within the workspace using an electromagnet. Colored LEDs, controlled by analog outputs, simulate five different stages of galvanic processing. The workspace also includes contact sensors for locating portable workpieces.
