Siemens S7-1200 G2 Training Kit
The Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 G2 training set is a complete set of PLC controllers and software designed for practical PLC programming education at universities of technology. It uses STEP 7 Professional and WinCC Advanced/Unified software, enabling laboratory classes based on technologies used in industrial automation.
The training set is intended for exercises covering PLC systems, automation programming, and process visualization. Combined with TIA Portal, it allows students to work through the entire process – from hardware configuration and control program development, through commissioning and diagnostics, to the preparation of an operator interface.

With Industrial Ethernet cables and training licenses for STEP 7 Professional and WinCC Advanced/Unified, the set can serve as a basis for laboratory workstations, student projects, and practical exercises in automation and Industry 4.0.
The training set can be used during laboratory classes, project-based courses, and diploma projects related to automation and control. It enables students to work independently with the PLC.
The workstation can be used for exercises including:
- PLC programming in TIA Portal,
- creating and testing control systems,
- program monitoring and diagnostics,
- creating HMI visualizations in WinCC.
We recommend mounting the PLCs on our Basic PLC Training Workstation and using them together with actuator components.
