Quanser 2DOF Gantry Pendulum

Quanser 2DOF Gantry Pendulum

Two Servo Motor Bases are connected with 4 beams, forming an arm with 2 degrees of freedom. The additional pendulum can be mounted in two ways:

  • Directed upwards creates an inverted pendulum experiment with two degrees of freedom
  • Directed downwards creates a gantry model

Students learn more advanced concepts of controlling a system with 2 degrees of freedom.

The kit includes all elements necessary to quickly start the station: amplifier, controller, Matlab or LabVIEW module as well as educational materials for students.
