Intelligent Industry 4.0 Factory Model

Intelligent Industry 4.0 Factory Model

The station allows performing many exercises, facing students with various challenges typical to Industry 4.0. A three-axis manipulator with an electromagnetic gripper allows for free and precise movement of the processed elements. RFID read and write heads allow each component to be identified and processed in individual way. The horizontally installed HMI panel allows to view the operating parameters, but also to simulate part of the process. The construction of the stand allows for stacking together several pieces next to each other in order to create a more complex process. As in the case of many of such solutions, students perform a large portion of their tasks based on digital interfaces (Profinet, IO - Link), so they have the opportunity to learn more than simple digital logic.
