OS2 Ouster is a family of lidars offering up to 22.5º angle in a vertical 1-400 m range object detection. Depending on the version, between 64 and 128 beams scan the surroundings with a frequency of up to 20 Hz. The built-in IMU allows to easily implement SLAM algorithms. In addition to the point cloud typical of Lidars, this sensor also provides a 2D image of the environment, thus facilitating the creation and verification of algorithms. The highest level of protection against external conditions (IP69K) enables to safely use the device in field tests.
Lidars with 64 channels are available in 3 ray configuration options:
