{"id":12133,"date":"2026-09-08T16:16:04","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T14:16:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edu4industry.com\/?page_id=12133"},"modified":"2026-09-09T10:49:20","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T08:49:20","slug":"gdpr","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/edu4industry.com\/en\/gdpr\/","title":{"rendered":"Information Obligation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-path-to-node=\"0\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b data-path-to-node=\"0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Fulfillment of the GDPR Information Obligation<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"1\">In connection with the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and based on Art. 13 and Art. 14 of the aforementioned regulation, we provide the information required by the regulation and inform you that as of 25 May 2018, you are entitled to the rights specified below regarding the processing of your personal data by E4i Sp. z o.o. \/ Edu4industry.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">The Data Controller of your personal data is E4i Sp. z o.o., operating at ul. Krasi\u0144skiego 29, 40-019 Katowice, Poland, KRS 0000951321, NIP 8943180770.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Purposes and Legal Bases for Data Processing<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">Personal data will be processed for at least one of the following purposes:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"5\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">For performance of a contract<\/b> to which the data subject or the company represented by them is a party, or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">To comply with legal obligations<\/b> incumbent on the Controller under generally applicable provisions of law, including accounting law, tax regulations, and derivative laws, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">For purposes arising from legitimate interests<\/b> pursued by the Controller or a third party, consisting of acquiring new contacts to potential commercial clients in order to offer own products and services, conducting marketing and advertising campaigns, establishing, pursuing, or defending claims, etc., pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,3,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">For sales and marketing purposes<\/b> carried out by the Controller based on your consent to data processing, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Sources of Personal Data<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">Your personal data was obtained in one of the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"8\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\">directly provided by you through handing over a business card, sending traditional or electronic correspondence, or filling out a relevant form on the Controller&#8217;s website;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\">from publicly available sources and registers such as: CEIDG, KRS, REGON, NIP, PKD, corporate websites, advertisements on the Internet, or the official corporate helpline operating under phone numbers provided online;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,2,0\">provided in any manner to the extent necessary for the preparation and performance of a contract;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,3,0\">through the purchase of a commercial contact database from entities that have certified in writing and are able to demonstrate having your consent to process and transfer data to third parties.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Categories of Data<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\">Based on the specific nature of the Controller&#8217;s business oriented toward serving commercial companies, institutions, and organizations, the collected and processed data categories include basic business personal data such as: first name, last name, phone numbers, email addresses, and IP addresses. These data will be combined with non-personal data that cannot identify a specific individual, such as: company name, company address, company NIP, KRS, REGON numbers, corporate domain, company bank account number, organizational unit name within the company, job title, company business profile, etc.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\"><b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Data Recipients<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\">Your personal data will be transferred to entities providing services to the Controller necessary for the execution and fulfillment of the contract concluded or planned to be concluded with you, such as: accounting services, courier services, postal services, telecommunications service providers, hosting service providers, manufacturers and suppliers of products offered by the Controller to the extent necessary to obtain these products (e.g., software licensing, product registration, service package activation, etc.), legal, analytical, and marketing services, debt collection, contract settlement, banking services regarding payment processing, as well as authorities authorized to receive your personal data under strictly binding provisions of law.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Data Transfer to Third Countries<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14\">The Data Controller does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country or an international organization.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"15\"><b data-path-to-node=\"15\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Data Retention Period<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16\">Your personal data will be processed only for the longest of the following periods:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"17\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17,0,0\">for the period required by law, including accounting and tax regulations;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17,1,0\">for a period of up to 3 years from the last contact;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17,2,0\">for the operational period of the solution covered by warranties and similar benefits;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17,3,0\">for the duration of the concluded contract;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17,4,0\">for the period necessary to pursue potential claims or defend against such claims by the Controller;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17,5,0\">the retention period may be extended each time by the statute of limitations for claims.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"18\"><b data-path-to-node=\"18\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Your Rights<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"19\">You have the right to access the content of your personal data and request their rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"20\">You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority dealing with personal data protection (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office \u2013 UODO) if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of Regulation 2016\/679.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"21\"><b data-path-to-node=\"21\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Requirement to Provide Data<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"22\">Providing personal data is required by the Controller to answer queries and provide information, or to prepare, conclude, and perform a contract. The consequence of not providing the personal data required by the Controller is the inability to answer, provide information, or prepare, conclude, and perform a contract.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"23\"><b data-path-to-node=\"23\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Automated Decision-Making and Profiling<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"24\">Your personal data will not be profiled. Automated operations will be performed solely by IT systems handling the Controller&#8217;s website, email system, and automated invoicing and debt collection system.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"25\"><b data-path-to-node=\"25\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Timing and Manner of Fulfilling the Information Obligation<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"26\">The information obligation regarding received personal data will be fulfilled by the Controller after obtaining the data within one month at the latest or upon the first communication with the data subject.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"27\">The information obligation will be fulfilled depending on the source of the data and the available communication medium:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"28\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"28,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"28,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Website form:<\/b> provided upon filling out and submitting the form via a redirect to a link to this document;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"28,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"28,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Business card:<\/b> provided by sending electronic correspondence containing a link to this document;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"28,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"28,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Traditional mail:<\/b> provided by sending a response to that mail either in traditional format or via electronic correspondence containing a link to this document;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"28,3,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"28,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Email:<\/b> provided by sending an electronic reply containing a link to this document;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"28,4,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"28,4,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Public registers\/sources:<\/b> provided after an initial meeting or phone conversation by sending electronic correspondence containing a link to this document;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"28,5,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"28,5,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Commercial databases:<\/b> provided by sending electronic correspondence containing a link to this document.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"29\"><b data-path-to-node=\"29\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Data Erasure Procedure<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"30\">In the event that your data needs to be erased, all collected personal data will be removed from storage media and registers, or anonymized if data deletion would compromise the structure of the data. In any case, we will endeavor to fulfill your requests.
